Nala was walking near the borders, watching, when she saw Kiara. “Kiara not off wondering in the Outlands, are you?” she said half joking
Kiara stared, in complete awe of the Outlands when her mother’s voice drew her attention. “Of course not, mother.” She laughed, turning towards her and walking over. ”Just looking, really.”
Zira skulked behind some tall blades of grass, growling softly at Kiara and Nala. She stepped out and made her way over, her steps slow and deliberate, “Well, isn’t this just cozy.” Her tone was laced with bitterness and anger.
