“Kovu? He took time out of his busy schedule to come see his family- how considerate.” He hissed, tail lashing a little. “I suppose he was trying to extract information from you? All those Pridelanders do is insult us and ask us to tell them what we are planning. Where’s the fun in that?” He asked, giving a toothy grin at the end.

“He thinks I’m planning something.” She snorted softly and brushed a paw over her head, “I must say, he has become very, uh, confident in himself. I’m unsure if that is a good thing or not.”

“They all think we are planning things.” Scar said, rolling his eyes. “Which is true. But I don’t understand why they think we’ll just tell them.” He was a visibly mad at that point, but only slightly. “Yes, Kovu’s recent engagement and acceptance into the Pridelands has made him think he is untouchable. Soon he will learn that there are consequences,” Scar hissed, slapping his paw down to crush a termite, “for betraying his roots.”  

Zira chuckled, “Even Vitani thinks we are planning something, you didn’t tell me you’d spoken to her.” The lioness fixed Scar with a slightly serious look before continuing, “Oh? And what do you plan on doing to Kovu? By all means, I am all ears.”
